How can I earn with PLDT cyberya?

Posted on

PLDT KaAsenso  Cyberya might sound new to the ears of many but is actually all around us nowadays. You can see it  in  stores, shops, restaurants. It is actually as common as your ordinary payphone, it is known by the name of PISOnet. There were times that  the Philippine society is challenged by  the Press People of what an  ordinary  Juan can buy with one peso, now there is an obvious answer. With  the dawn of PISOnet and Cyberya, one peso can mean four minutes of  internet surfing or even  gaming.

The Cyberya is a project  of  PLDT KaAsenso to pave the way  for  business owners in having substantial extra income. It may also be a jump start for those who want to have their own business. It is powered by Intel graphics  HD card and processor, has a hard drive capacity of 320 GB, 2 G DDR,broadband connectivity of up to 3 Mbps, a genuine Windows  Operating System and the package also comes with a 15.6″ LED monitor. The unit comes with a coin slot where customers can put their barya and be connected to the world wide web. When you  buy an ordinary  pisonet, the seller’s liability stops on the actual  purchase. Cyberya has a 2-year long warranty for parts and service. PLDT mkes all efforts to support you in being a successful minigosyante because they know how important it is to have technical support especially when your just beginning.

The amount of  revenue anyone can generate with  Cyberya is dependent on a few determinable factors, such as:

  1. Location- Make sure that your going to put your unit far away from any  existing Cyberya units. Conduct an ocular survey if your not familiar wit the place since you need to have your potential  customers be exposed to the unit. (e.g. schools, malls, gas stations and your own neighborhood)
  2. Running time-  The longer your Cyberya unit operates, the more customer it gets so it increases your returns. You don’t need to worry because it is safe to have the unit running for a max of 16 hours a day, plus if no one is using your Cyberya unit, it will automatically be on a sleep mode so it doesn’t consume much electrical energy.

You can check out a sample computation right here so you can see when will you get your capital and start earning from  PLDT Cyberya.

James Hardie: Living without compromise

Posted on

You guys might have read my article about  the Look Home magazine, which is may I say again, insightful and informative. This time around I was amazed about James Hardie’s new product launched on that  very same day as the magazine. All throughout the years that JH has been in the Philippine market, they have been providing us with  great products such as, ceilings, walls, wet area walls, eaves and a lot of other construction materials. With the increase in jobs generating here in the metro begets also the increase in demand of the need to live near work. With limited lot area, developers have seen the projected need for vertical housing, examples are: condominiums, apartelles and suites. This is not as simple as it may seem though because  our country is well-known for disasters of nature that have and still are putting more and more pressure on how us, as homeowners can make sure that our home is safe from all of these.

“’LIVEvolution™’ is a movement we started last year,” says Mark Sergio, James Hardie Philippines’ Sales and Marketing director. “Time and time again, we have seen how typical Filipinos would waste time and money in having their house built and rely on substandard materials due to lack of information. We strongly feel the need to educate them about options to challenge the convention and help them to live without compromising beauty and durability, and safety and comfort”.

Mr. Sergio talks about LIVEvolution further, on how James Hardie products makes a difference and how these creates tailor-fit and customized home in accordance to what the homeowner needs and can afford without the compromise of quality and design. In fact in their web site, James Hardie has shared a lot of design ideas that lets anybody do it like child-play. Just click on this link and you’ll see for yourself:  “Design Ideas” I, for one has the dream of having my own place one day and asked the JH team how could I get hold of their products in retail, so that I’ll know when the time comes. Fortunately on their very helpful website is a search engine that helps you specify your look out to where you are nearest  and most accessible, here is the link : “Find a Dealer”.  I,as a consumer likes to make informed purchases; it means that I  try to optimize what I can and need to know about a product first before buying it. So I did my own research and surprisingly found out more why I should really opt to choose  James Hardie as my partner in building my own home in the future.  James Hardie advanced building composites are made from benign raw materials low in toxicity such as cellulose fiber, cement, sand and water compared to block walls. In addition, JH advanced building composites, like HardieFlex for example, is designed and engineered to suit the varying Philippine weather conditions. Here is an itemized advantages of JH products as compared others in the market.

On the  event itself involved the participation of the  design guru Ms. Tessa Prieto-Valdez. It made sense since,   Ms. Tessa Prieto-Valdez is the type of homeowner who recognizes and gives importance to quality in the building materials she uses at home.  She knows the value of combining style, creativity, taste, as well as strength and durability in the choices she makes for her home. Lastly, she is the ideal homeowner that personifies James Hardie’s own vision for providing Filipinos the best building materials so they can live without compromising their dreams and way of life.

Crizal Transitions, a brand of  eyeglasses lenses that  was introduced by Essilor here in the Philippines will be hosting the very first and much anticipated outdoor movie marathon and music festival. It will be on  November 30, 2013 and is going to be held at the Globe Event Circuit grounds. I am personally  excited  about this event since I am an avid fan of both audio and visual arts, not to mention a lot of other fun stuff which  will be made available to everybody who will come and join. The highlights of  the event are as follows; The gates will open at  1 pm and a fair will be available for everybody to try different stuff like karting, bungee jumping, skating and kite-flying. Games and raffle prizes also await lucky guests. To mellow down, everybody can enjoy a romantic sunset while listening to good music and then after is the first outdoor movie screening ever of two great films: Love, actually and Limitless.

You can tell on the itinerary of activities that there is so much to be anxious about but I know everybody will agree with me that “The After Party” is always more interesting and fun-filled. So, Crizal Transitions gives you four amazing band groups who will perform live at the Globe Event Circuit Grounds. They are Bamboo, Callalily, Moonstar88 and Gracenote and to be honest, think I can already  hear the loud screaming of crowd just by telling who will perform Lol.

It  was my  first time to hear about  both actually but contrary  to what I think Essilor has been producing advanced and innovative products since they began back in  1972. They have been a worldwide leader in developing and manufacturing ophthalmic lenses, lens coatings and dispensary technologies. In fact, Essilor has subsidiaries in more than 30 countries and is represented in more than 100 countries with major production centers in Europe, North and Central America and Asia. To explain more about  the product, here are a few pictures why difference is worth taking note of:

The first was food, this time around we go with handicrafts!!!! Be Sikat! Be Pinoy!

After staging a successful national food fair in August, the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) is launching another national fair to promote and sell Filipino handicrafts under its Sikat Pinoy brand this month.

“This is the second edition of DTI’s national domestic trade fairs under our newly introduced Sikat Pinoy brand,” DTI Undersecretary for Trade and Investment Promotions Ponciano C. Manalo, Jr. said.

With the tagline “Piling-piling produktong Pilipino”, the DTI will hold the Sikat Pinoy National Handicrafts Fair from September 19 to 23 at the SM Megatrade Halls, SM Megamall in Mandaluyong City.

“With the artistic and innovative Filipino handiworks from different regions of the Philippines available in this fair, we intend to kick off the Christmas shopping season that usually starts as early as September in the country,” Manalo said.

The fair will showcase furniture and furnishings, home décor, gifts and housewares, holiday décor, wearables, accessories, and jewelry.

“Aside from shoppers from Metro Manila and nearby provinces, corporate buyers and institutional merchandisers are also expected to visit and make this fair an opportunity to support the growth of participating micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs),” Manalo said.

The Sikat Pinoy National Food Fair, held last August, and involving over 250 micro, small and medium-sized food entrepreneurs from the country’s 16 regions, generated about P15 million in cash and booked sales.

For more information on the Sikat Pinoy National Handicrafts Fair, you may contact the DTI through the Bureau of Domestic Trade (BDT) at 751.3223, or email at bdt@dti.gov.ph.  The BDT is on the ground floor of the Trade and Industry Building, 361 Senator Gil Puyat Avenue in Makati City. You may also visit Sikat Pinoy fairs’ website at http://www.sikatpinoyfairs.com, or “Like” its Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/SikatPinoyFairs.

So guys and gals if you loved the first, I ‘m sure your going to adore the second. This time it’s gonna be handicrafts and there’s plenty to be excited about since Filipinos are known to be very creative. Remember, September 19-23, 2013. Keep posted for the upcoming highlights, schedule and many more…..

See you there

Bank of The Philippine Islands

There is nothing more to say if you have read about BPI’s exciting news on their renewed promo expanding throughout Southeast Asia, which is also in this very site.  BPI 24/7 banking channels

You can watch the featured video by just clicking this link: Whoa!!!!!!

Upon making more research on why should I choose BPI as my partner made me uncover some monumental facts not only to the light of banking and finance but also to Philippine History. BPI is the oldest bank in Southeast Asia, it has a long and distinguished history that spans over a century.  Its network of 831 branches is by far the largest of any bank in the Philippines to date.

Pesos Fuertes
Pesos Fuertes

BPI was established on August 1, 1851 as the El Banco Español Filipino de Isabel II (Spanish-Filipino Bank of Isabel II), named after the queen of Spain, Isabella II, the daughter of former king Ferdinand VII.  It is the first bank to issue the Philippine peso. They were originally called pesos Fuertes (PF), or “strong pesos”. First printed on May 1, 1852, they were redeemable at face value for gold or silver Mexican coins.

In 1969, Ayala Corporation, which had been affiliated with the bank since its establishment in 1851; became the dominant shareholder of BPI and eventually made it into the flagship of Ayala’s financial entities. In 1982, BPI became a universal bank, and in 2000, became the Philippines’ first bank assurance firm, being the first Philippine bank to offer insurance services after acquiring the insurance companies of the Ayala Group, the parent company of the Ayala Corporation. Within that year, BPI also founded the BPI Direct Savings Bank, an Internet bank, which launched BPI into 21st century banking.

While it is considered by many as an old institution, BPI is dynamic as it caters to its various clients, which hail from different sectors of Philippine society. I am in much awe about the story of this unbelievable bank which in time had made a name and an identity that nobody can forget. Seriously, if you think of BPI can you think of anything else it could mean other than “Bank of the Philippine Islands”?!

Here are some very useful links on what to do to get started on earning points. You can also explore on how you could take leverage on their strategic services. In my opinion they’ve already surpassed the limitations of banking and finance, but who knows we still might get surprised with their innovations.
